Cafe Signage That Gets Noticed: Recent Work from The Laser Co

A cafe’s signage does a lot of work. It pulls people in off the footpath, tells them what you serve, and shows your brand before anyone has tasted a coffee. At The Laser Co, we make custom signage for cafes, roasters and coffee brands. Here’s a look at some recent projects.

A-Frames That Stand Out on the Footpath

For 1770 Coffee Co in Agnes Water, we made a set of A-frame “Proudly Serving” signs in a soft sage green with deep green artwork. They suit the beachside brand and read well from a distance. For Nadia’s Espresso Bar, we went bold with a matte black A-frame and crisp raised white lettering for the logo and “Now Pouring” message. The raised detail catches the light and adds depth you can’t get from flat print.

Shopfront Signage with Impact

Nadia’s Espresso Bar also needed a main shopfront sign. We made a long matte black panel with the round bean logo on the left and the full name in clean, raised white lettering on the right. The strong contrast makes it easy to read from across the road, and the pre-drilled mounting holes make installation straightforward.

Projecting Signs for Street Presence

The Coffee Showbox double-sided round sign, finished in matte black with white lettering and a clean lightbulb icon, is mounted on a sturdy bracket. Because it projects from the wall, it’s visible to people walking along the street, not just those directly in front of the shopfront.

Branded Displays for Roasters and Retail

For Kaffelogic, we built a counter display pairing a black panel with raised 3D white lettering, a timber-look base, and a custom brochure holder that directs customers to where they can buy green beans. It’s a good example of signage that also does a practical job.

We also made “Proudly Serving” table stands for Seven Miles Coffee Roasters: crisp printed cards on solid pine bases. They suit cafes that want to show which roaster they use without cluttering the counter.

Timber and Custom Details

Natural materials work well in cafes. We produced round timber signs for Offshoot Coffee Co and The Plant Bunker, with fine linework that shows off the grain of the wood. For Caffè & Co, we made a set of solid walnut table number blocks, numbered 1 to 10 and finished with the brand’s engraved logo, a small detail that makes a big impression on every table.
