WOODEN MENU STANDS

Project

Amidst exciting expansion, Foodora delivery service needed to fabricate a number of their solid timber menu holders. Supplied with a physical example piece, The Laser Co set about timber matching reproducing these nifty little branded items.

Process

We chose to work with New Guinea Rosewood as it was similar to the sample provided. The timber was dressed to size, and we hand-routed, cut to size, laser engraved and sanded the timber smooth.

Result

The Rosewood was a great visual match to the previously used Iroko, with the added benefit of being a very stable timber to work with. The resulting channels and engraving was spot on and these branded beauties can be found in restaurants around Australia.
